The 4:30 a.m. scene outside the White House after Osama bin Laden is killed

Around 4:30 a.m. Monday morning, I took a walk from The Washington Post building on 15th and L Streets NW to see if there was still a crowd in front of the White House. This was about five hours after President Obama made his television address announcing that the al-Qaeda leader had been killed by the United States.

As you can see, there was still a decent group and the “U-S-A! U-S-A!” chants were still going strong.
