Facebook’s username feature allows you to create a unique vanity URL for your page — for example mine is Facebook.com/ericathas. You can also customize this for Facebook pages.
The minimum length for your username is five characters, eliminating the possibility for anyone to have a really unique and super-simple vanity URL such as Facebook dot com slash E. That is, anyone except for some lucky Facebook employees.
Here are the nine. One of these is a former employee and not all of these are usernames (some are just vanity URLs that redirect to their usernames).
Not many (did any?) people predicted AOL’s acquisition of The Huffington Post and a recent Wall Street Journal article says Google and Facebook are having “low-level talks” with Twitter. Steven Pearlstein of The Washington Post says media mergers are likely to be more frequent.
